iPhone Giveaway a Crowd Pleaser at Ajilon-sponsored AIIA Forum

The 3G Apple iPhone giveaway that Ajilon ran at yesterday’s AIIA Business Forum in Melbourne was well-received by the 130 guests in attendance.

Bill Leropoulos, Ajilon General Manager, said the giveaway didn’t come without a cost for guests, who were asked to complete a short questionnaire in order to qualify for the draw.

“It was a bit of a different marketing twist to what we normally do at these events, but we wanted to generate some potential new client contacts and aligning our questionnaire around Ajilon’s Business Transformation services, the theme of this month’s Forum, was an effective way to do this.  We got a great response from guests.  Wayne Pales, Head Strategy and Architecture at AGL, was drawn as the winner.”

Key note speakers Brian Keane, CIO and GM of Shared Service at National Foods, and Stephen Woolley, Senior Partner and Transformation Leader at PWC, shared their insights and approaches to Business Transformation and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with attendees.

A couple of Brian’s key messages outlined National Foods’ strategy to use the ERP/Business Transformation process as the driver for breaking down divisional silos, along with the need for CEOs to continue sponsoring and leading all Business Transformation programs to avoid them failing.

Stephen’s presentation covered the seven lessons learnt by top Australian CEOs and executives on leading and executing major change programs.
