Ajilon Sydney’s Office Move a Cause for Celebration

On April 3, the team at Ajilon’s Sydney office officially celebrated their recent move into bigger CBD premises on Market St.

The office opening soiree was attended by key and prospective clients, who joined with Geoff Howard and more than 30 of his staff for casual post-work drinks and networking inside the new office.

According to Geoff, the event was a success overall and was well attended by clients, vendors and staff alike.

“We’ve received some complementary feedback on what a great night it was from both clients and staff.  I think it gave everyone the opportunity to engage in an informal atmosphere and celebrate how far we’ve come.  It’s hard to believe that Ajilon’s origins in NSW date all the way back to 1996, when Ross Tavener moved from Melbourne as part of the F&S Management Services (now Ajilon).  The team grew organically from then on, and now we have almost 60 staff with us.  I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.”

Over the years, the Sydney office has been managed by various staff, who have all played an important role in its rich, 14-year history; David Keele, Tony Gale and more recently, Geoff Howard, NSW’s current General Manager.  Geoff, who’d previously been the NSW General Manager of AeM since 2003, took over the helm from Tony in September 2006, when AeM and Ajilon Consulting merged.

“I attribute our growth to great people and great partnerships with clients, ensuring longevity of staff and delivering beneficial business outcomes to clients,” said Geoff.

The future is looking bright for Ajilon in NSW.  Geoff is planning to expand Ajilon’s services to existing clients and grow by half again, aligning his NSW growth strategy to Ajilon’s National Strategy 2010.
