Ajilon Australia’s Perth and Sydney offices are preparing the final stages of their rebrand to Ajilon, following the announcement made last September by the international Ajilon Group to acquire Perth-based business and ICT consulting firm, AeM Group.
AeM Group, which commenced operation in 1998, quickly rose to become one of Perth’s top ICT management consultancies and opened its Sydney branch in 2002.
Ajilon’s Managing Director and former head of AeM, Ian McFarlane, said the move to rebrand its Perth and Sydney offices to Ajilon following last year’s merger, was done in a bid to unify the company and better position it for growth opportunities in the local and global ICT markets.
“The Ajilon Group has global reach and has enjoyed a strong presence in Australia’s Melbourne market since 1993, so there were some clear advantages associated with AeM adopting the Ajilon brand that we were keen to leverage.
“We’re particularly excited about capitalising on the global capabilities of Ajilon. The company has offices all around the world, including North America, Europe, the UK and Asia Pacific. We’re extremely keen to pursue the opportunities this opens up for our business and our people.”
Perth and Sydney’s official rebrand to the Ajilon name is the culmination of a program of work that has taken the companies’ operations’ teams more than eight months to complete. Each has had the challenge of integrating their communications, business support systems and processes into one in readiness for Perth and Sydney’s brand launches in June and May respectively.
The brand transition, happening concurrently in each state, will be complete after both offices host individual brand launch functions in the coming weeks.
The Sydney office will be holding a cocktail reception for its clients at the Shangri-La Hotel on Thursday 24 May, with the Perth office planning to ‘make its mark’ with staff and clients on Thursday 21 June, at cocktail launch party to be held at The Art Gallery of WA.
Ian McFarlane said he was happy with progress the state offices had made in the transition process to date.
“The integration is well underway and nearing completion. AeM is a company that’s grown from the outset and throughout this merger, we’ve maintained a strong focus on our people. We’ve retained all of our staff and we’re proud of that.
“Our next signal events are the brand launches we have coming up in Sydney and Perth. Beyond this, I’m looking forward to us beginning our operations as one national firm.”
