Ajilon facilitated a workshop at Leadit, the itSMF 14th National Conference, held at the Burswood Convention Centre from the 17 – 19 August, 2011. The National Conference brought together practitioners in the Service Management area across public and private sector organisations in Australia and New Zealand, presenting topics of interest, new trends and ideas.
The event was held in Perth for the first time in its 14 year history and was attended by over 400 people from all states and New Zealand.
Ajilon’s Madhu Goswami and Anthony Doig facilitated the workshop titled “PRINCE2®* and ITIL®**: Friend or Foe?” Madhu said their workshop was aimed at Service Management practitioners presenting an overview of the PRINCE2 project management methodology and an integrated model of PRINCE2 and ITIL, which provided key touch points between the 2 methodologies.
“Our workshop presented a practical model which can drive efficiencies in the transition of projects into the service environment, thus resulting in significantly better benefits for the business.
“Participants who came from Perth, Canberra, Brisbane and New Zealand felt that they could take away things that were immediately useable in their work environments. The feedback we received included the following:

- This was worth coming across to Perth for, even if I attend no other conference sessions!
