A large global organisation, our client operates offshore rigs servicing oil and gas producers and employs several hundred offshore workers in drilling, operational support and catering roles. With a growing workforce, our client needed a system that could streamline its processes whilst managing increased workloads.
The challenge
The payroll division of the organisation had the challenge of processing pays for a varied workforce, taking into account a multitude of complex factors which meant inefficiencies of time as they took into account reclassifications, leave, evacuation, training and a complex payment structure for fly-in fly-out payscales.
