Our client runs a monitoring system used by local councils, catchment management authorities, landowners and other land managers.
The information from the program allows groups to investigate and take action on water quality and catchment and ecosystem health.
The data from across more than 600 sites provides an early warning system for pollution events, helps evaluate any impact and identifies local issues so that action can be taken.
The challenges
Faced with a system that needed enhancements in improving data quality, user friendliness and better functionality, the Ajilon team was faced with the challenge of re-writing the existing system to deliver a range of outcomes within time and budgetary constraints.

Our recommendations were to re-write the application so that it could:
- Provide a more user friendly user interface
- Allow easier access to data through an Excel interface; and
- So it enhanced user management and security
